Why See ?

Doug E Fresh & More

It may have been the decade of legwarmers and bad hair, but the Eighties also gave us some incredible music. Hip-hop, rap and New Jack Swing came of age, storming into the mainstream charts, and some of those musical pioneers are back together for this special Back 2 the 80s tour. Topping the bill are frequent collaborators Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh, whose 1985 single 'The Show' remains one of the genre's landmarks. Also joining them on the bill are Gramy winner Big Daddy Kane, one of the most talented MCs ever to grace the earth, and Brooklyn trio Whodini, best known for the tracks 'Friends' and 'Be Yourself'.

The complete line-up for the Back 2 the 80s tour is: Whodini, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Al B. Sure, Force MDs, Hi-Five, Cherrelle, and Doug E. Fresh. Catch them all when the tour hits in , , Open Run.
