Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons

September 9, 2017

The original Jersey Boy, Frankie himself, is taking his latest incarnation of the Four Seasons on tour across the States in this year. The legendary falsetto and his band will be belting out the hits that made them world-famous during the last 40 years, and what led them to sell over 100 million records worldwide.

Paramore are reborn once again on their fifth record After Laughter, a hook-laden, synth infused, straight-up pop record, that's bound to introduce the group to a whole swathe of new fans. Lead single 'Hard Times' in particular is instant night-out anthem material. But while it's musically a far cry away from their early emo rock days, Hayley Williams' frustrated, anxious lyrics are all present and correct.

When Blur's Damon Albarn and animator Jamie Hewlett debuted their virtual rock/hip-hop band in the late nineties, many brushed it of as a novetly act. Since then, Gorillaz have grown to be one of the most respected and innovative bands in the world, and this year they set out on their first North American tour in seven years.

The Nashville scene has long been plagued with the radio-friendly misogyny of Bro Country. Enter the progressive Country stylings of Sturgill Simpson, an independent singer songwriter that draws comparisons with Waylon Jennings and the Country Outlaws, those who sought authenticity in their craft.
