Why See Why Do Fools Fall in Love?
Back to the Sixties
From Roger Bean, the creator of the Off-Broadway longrunner The Marvelous Wonderettes, Why Do Fools Fall in Love is another nostalgic trip back to the 1960s, featuring one classic girl group number after another. The action takes place at a bachelorette party, as a group of girlfriends tackle the big subjects of life, commitment and marriage, and reveal some secrets about their own love lives.
The snappy dialogue and friendly repartee is all set to some of the Sixities best known numbers, including 'My Boy Lollipop,' 'I Will Follow Him,' 'You Don't Have to Say You Love Me,' and 'Hey There Lonely Boy.'
