A New take on Swan Lake

Led by visionary dancemaker Angelin Preljocaj, Ballet Peljocaj is highly acclaimed for its stunning reimagining of classical works in the repertoire, alongside breathtaking modern originals. Following re-imaginings of Snow White and Romeo and Juliet, the company now present their Swan Lake! 

Fusing contemporary dance with classical choreography, and with new arrangements to accompany Tchaikovsky's score, the masterpiece is given a brand new staging, pitching the sorcerer Van Rothbart as a heartless industrialist, and Odette and the Prince as eco-warriors who battle against him.
